Dr. Dorothy Irene Heights - Passed today at 98. An extraordinary phenomenal woman, who we all should know or learn to know to understand and respect our history and the struggle and fight for civil rights. She led many in the push for equal rights, a huge integral part of the National Council of Negro Women and plethora of many other accomplishment including a Congressional gold medal 2004. May you RIP and thank you, thank you, thank you.
The Legendary Keith Elam (aka Guru), 1/2 of Gang Starr passed away yesterday....43 years old, still young in his time. A huge influence on the hip hop community and definitely one of my favorites in "growing years" of hip hop. Wanted to leave you with on of my favorites and I am sure many others as well.
